Top features Flexion Hinge:

OnePlus has introduced Flexion Hinge with the phone, which makes it lightweight, compact, as well as durable. The hinge is built around a single-spine architecture, that allows a more efficient integration between components and leads to a sturdier structure overall. OnePlus says that this allowed it to reduce the overall number of parts required for making the hinge from 100 to 69, without affecting quality. This is how the weight of the hinge, as well as the device, has been reduced.

Sony’s powerful camera sensor:

OnePlus Open is the first folding smartphone with Sony’s new LYTIA T808 (LYT-T808) image sensor. OnePlus claims that the sensor can take in vast amounts of light even in low-light environments, boosting dynamic range and image quality without the need for a larger sensor.
